Russell A. Love, 76, U.S. Army Veteran

Mr. Love was born on June 22, 1927 in Lorain, where he has been a lifelong resident

Russell was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II. He had been employed as a custodian for the Bay Village Schools. He was a member of the Delaware Avenue Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, nature, and rock collection with his wife.

Mr. Love is survived by his wife Patricia (nee Friend) Love; daughter: Christine Ehasz of South Amherst; sons: James Love of Marrietta, Georgia, and John Love of Columbus; 2 grandchildren; brothers: Donald Love of Lorain, and Albert Love of Vermilion.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Gilbert J. and Doris (nee Quillen) Love.

Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 4:00 p.m. in the Schwartz, Boyer, & Cool Home for Funerals; 1124 5th Street, Lorain with the Reverend John L. Ferris, pastor of the Delaware Avenue United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
