Ida Witte, 95, Enjoyed sewing

She was born August 26, 1908 in Germany, moving to the Lorain area in 1924.

Mrs. Witte was a member of St. John’s United Church of Chris in Lorain. She enjoyed sewing.

Ida is survived by her son: David Lachman of Evans, GA; daughters: Lillian Beaton of Miami, FL, and Ruth Ross of Melbourne, FL; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Gustav and Erdmine (Jahns) Semmler; her 1st husband: David Lachman; her 2nd husband: Burt Witte; 2 brothers; and 5 sisters.

Graveside services will be on Monday, December 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township, with the Reverend Robert D. Smith, officiating.
