Asunsion "Susie" Seda, 75, Enjoyed Bingo
Mrs. Asunsion "Susie" Seda, (nee Coto), age 75, of Lorain, died Friday December 12, 2003 at Community Heath Partners Hospital in Lorain after a lingering illness.She was born on May 15, 1928 in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico and moved to New York in 1946 where she was recruited to work at Sear's in Santurce, Puerto Rico in their Ladies Department.
She cam to Lorain in 1950 as she worked as a seamstress at Dalton Industries and Joseph and Feiss for many years.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel and was formerly very active with the church organizations.
She enjoyed Bingo.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas and Richard Baretto, both of Lorain, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Carmelo Coto, and her mother, America Lopez.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain, where services will be at 8:45 a.m. followed by Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
