Pearl L. Duncan, 84, Member of N. Shinnston Baptist Church
Pearl L. Duncan, (nee Bunnell) age 84, of Lorain, died on Friday, December 12, 2003 at New Life Hospice Center, following a lengthy illness.She was born on April 16, 1919 in Shinnston, West Virginia. She was a member of the North Shinnston Baptist Church.
She is survived by her five sons: George W. Duncan, of Cleveland, Bill, Arlie, and Walter Duncan, all of Lorain, and James Duncan of Cleveland, four daughters, Bessie Falish, of Lorain, Edna Bonnette, of Elyria, Wilma Shahan of Lorain, and Mary Britt of Star, North Carolina, 32 grandchildren, and 51 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Bessie Drain Bunnell, and her sister Nellie Heater.
Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston, West Virginia, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Richard Layfield, will officiate. Interment will follow at Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.
The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain handled the local arrangements.
