Kent Peters, 77, Central National Bank Retiree

Kent Peters (formerly known as Klaus Picht), 77, of Sheffield Lake, died on December 16, 2003 following a long illness.

He was born February 21, 1926 and had grew up in Marienburg, Germany. He lived in Sheffield Lake for more than 45 years.

Mr. Peters worked for General Electric, and was a retiree of Central National Bank (KeyCorp.)

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Eva-Maria (Heuermann); and children: Klaus-Markus and his wife Chris Bognar-Peters, Clark and his wife Kristin Flynn, and Christine Cucciarre and her husband Frank, and Kirk (from a previous marriage); grandchildren: Nikolas, Jakob, Lukas, and Lincoln; and step-grandfather of Jody and Sarah Cucciarre.

Preceding him in death were his parents: Dr. Ulrich Picht, and Dr. Elisabeth (nee Cohn) Picht.

Friends can visit with his family from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel; 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake.
