Patrick J. Semancik, 58, Enjoyed hunting and fishing
Patrick J. Semancik, 58, of Elyria, died Monday at Elyria Memorial Hospital Regional Medical Center in Elyria after a sudden illness.Born in Pitt Gas, PA, he was a longtime Elyria resident.
Mr. Semancik was employed at Ford Motor Co., Brook Park, retiring after 25 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy (nee Beal); a daughter: Rhea McGhee of Norwalk; a son: Patrick of Elyria; stepsons: Bill and Brad Bashak; and a stepdaughter: Michele Cawley all of Elyria; 12 grandchildren; his mother: Mary (nee Lucas) of Pitt Gas, PA; brothers: Andy of Mentor-on-the-Lake, and Tom of Pitt Gas, PA; and sisters Mary Teluch of Beallsville, PA, and Bette Donervitch of Pittsburgh, PA.
He was preceded in death by his father: Andrew; and a sister: Margaret.
No services to be held at this time. Wyers Funeral Chapel; 2900 North Ridge Road, Elyria, handled the arrangements.
