Helen Emogene White, 84, Enjoyed sewing and quilting
Helen Emogene White, age 84, of Grafton passed away Saturday morning in Elyria Memorial Hospital R.M.C. after a long illness.She was born Friday, February 28, 1919 in Gilmer Co., West Virginia living in the Grafton area over 50 years. She is a member of Midview Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. White is retired from Worthington Ball Co. in Elyria as an inspector, after working there for 27 years.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting and caring for her family home.
She is survived by 2 Daughters Joanne Dunlap of Sommerset, Kentucky, Patricia Yeager of Grafton, Ohio, 6 Grand Children and 9 Great Grand Children. Other survivors include 2 Sisters Gwen Postalwait of Mineral Wells, West Virginia and Cathleen Moyers of Wellington, Ohio
She is preceded in death by her husband Denver E., 1daughter Mildred White, 2 brothers Roland & Robert Moore, 1 Sister Frankie Parks.
Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. with funeral services Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Midview Baptist Church 37421 W. Royalton Rd. Grafton (Eaton Twp.) with Rev. Tim Mayo and Rev. Frank Odor pastors off. Mrs. White will then be taken to rest at Crooked Fork Cemetery in Braxton Co. West Virginia at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
