Constance A. Carpino, 82, Enjoyed bingo and crosseword puzzles

Constance A. Carpino (nee LeRoy), 82, of Lorain died Sunday December 28, 2003 at Palm Crest West Nursing Home in Elyria after a lengthy illness.

She was born April 27, 1921 in Clarksburg, West Virginia and had resided in Lorain since 1952 moving from Clarksburg.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain and the church Marian Guild.

Mrs. Carpino worked as a precinct committee person for the Lorain Board of Elections for over 20 years. She enjoyed bingo and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her son Danny carpino of Lorain, daughter Linda Carprino of Lambertville, Michigan, grandchildren Timothy D. Carpino of Elyria and Melissa W. of Lorain, great grandson Joshua Carpino of Elyria, sister Mary Oliverio of Clarksburg, West Virginia, brother-in-law. Louis Carpino and wife Rosie Carpino of Lorain and sister-in-law Mary Kohler of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her Americo F. Carpino on October 26, 2001

Friends may call Friday from 7:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 8:30 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorian. The Rec. Chuck Henkle, associate pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of Lorain, will precide.
