Mae Stella Salmon, 79, Volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital for 20 years

Mrs. Salmon was born on January 13, 1924 in Indiana, PA and has lived in the Lorain area since the early 1950's. She was a homemaker. She was a volunteer for more than 20 years at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a member of the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the former Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She was a very active volunteer in several community projects. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and attending social events.

Mrs. Salmon was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lorain.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirlee Mezatasta of Baltimore, MD, 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister Marie Forrett of Barberton, Ohio and one nephew.

Mrs. Salmon is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E. Salmon in 1982, her parents Frank G. & Rose Parsinitz, brothers Frank Parsinitz and Mike Parsons, sister Pat Parsinitz, and Anne Wargo.

Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Friday, January 9, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. Funeral services will be held on January 10, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals in Lorain, OH, with Rev. Jimmy Madsen officiating. Mae Stella Salmon will be buried at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Amherst Township, OH.
