William F. Terry, 82, WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army

Photo of William F. Terry William F. Terry, 82, of Vermilion, died Thursday, January 8,2003 in Kingston of Vermilion after a 4 year illness.

He was born December 5, 1921 in Trenton, Tennessee. He moved to Vermilion in 1958 from Memphis.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a stock checker for Ford Motor in Lorain. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion, and enjoying watching baseball.

He was a veteran of the United States Army during WWII.

Survivors include his son, Danny Terry of Vermilion; daughter, Judy Ward of Amherst; grandson, Vincenter Montagnese and granddaughter, Lauren Christie; 3 brothers, Aubry Terry, Marion Terry, both of Bells, TN and Clifford Terry of Vermilion; 2 sisters, Virginia Terry of Alamo, TN and Modene Dicus of Manassas, Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. The Vermilion Veterans Council will conduct military services at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home, Monday, January 12, 2004, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Guy Morton, pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
