Evelyn A. Schue, 73, Enjoyed cooking and bowling
Evelyn A. Schue (nee Horace), 73, of Elyria, passed away Friday, January 9, 2004 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph Lorain following a short illness.She was born February 4, 1930 in Erie, Lorain following a short illness. She was born February 4, 1930 in Erie, Pennsylvania and was a lifelong resident of Elyria. Evelyn was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, crocheting and making afghan’s, reading and bowling. She also was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of North Little League Baseball.
Mrs. Schue is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles S. Bud Schue; three sons, Thomas (Carolyn) of Huntsberg, Ohio; Bryon (Christine) of Sheffield and Donald (Pamelia) of Elyria; four grandchildren, one great grandchild; sister, Priscilla Robinson of Texas and brother, William Horace of Rock Hill, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milford and Betty (nee Martin) Horace.
Friends may call at the BUSCH-CURTIS-SCHEUFFLER FAMILY CHAPEL, 114 Second St. Elyria from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday, January 12, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Dennis Schmidt of St. John Lutheran Church, Elyria will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Memorials may be forwarded to a charity of choice.
