Katherine L. Williams, 55, Employed for 25 years at Good Samaritan

She was born on November 15, 1948 in Conneaut, Ohio and has lived in Sheffield Lake and Lorain most of her life.
She worked as a nursing assistant for Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Avon for 25 years. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, gardening, quilting, spending time with her grandchildren and caring for people.
Survivors include her husband Rush Williams, whom she married in 1987, daughter Christina (Dennis) Little of Vermilion, sons Robert J. Williamson III of Englewood, Florida, and Timothy Williamson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, step son Rush Williams Jr., of Sheffield Lake, step daughter Martha Canterbury of Sheffield Lake, three grandchildren; Leslie Nicole Little, Stevie Lane Canterbury, and Sammy Joe Canterbury, sister Delores Chase of Willoughby, brother Michael House of Painesville, step father Harold House of Fairport Harbour, and dear friend Myrtle Rizer of Sheffield Lake.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Jane Houser and a sister.
Friends may call from 204 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2004 at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin, Avenue, Lorain, Ohio, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2004. Reverend Bill Goodrich, of God Cares Ministry in Avon Lake, will officiate.
Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
