Patricia L. Ols, 73, Enjoyed playing golf and exercise

Photo of Patricia L. Ols Patricia L. Ols (nee Neal), 73 of Vermilion, died Tuesday, January 13, 2004 in Community Health Partners West after a sudden illness.

She was born February 9, 1930 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. She has been a Vermilion resident since 1993 moving from Cleveland.

She was a registered nurse for Deaconess Hospital in Cleveland for 25 years, and she retired as Director of Nursing at Breckenridge Village in Willoughby.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing golf, exercising at YMCA and discussing politics.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Pesek of Vermilion; sons, Donald Ols of North Ridgeville, and Rick Ols of Parma Heights; and 5 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ols on January 17, 2002; brother, Don Neal and her parents, Nelson Floyd and Bertha (nee Gilmore) Neal.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 16, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. A Christian Wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m.

Prayers will be said in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion. Father Jim Holmer, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Brownhelm Cemetery.
