Andrew "Andras" Berecz, 84, Born in Balsa, Hungry

Andrew "Andras" Berecz, 84, of Sheffield Lake, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at his home, following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Balsa, Hungary, and lived in Buffalo, N.Y. After retiring, he moved to Sheffield Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Angela; brother, Louis Berecz of Buffalo; sisters Maria, Margret and Ida in Hungary; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Feri Ber.

There will be no funeral service at this time.

Arrangements were handled by Wyers Funeral Chapel, Elyria.
