Florence E. Bommer, 78, Enjoyed gambling, animals, and her family
Florence Eleanore Bommer (nee Krute), 78 years of age, of Vermilion, died Saturday, January 17, 2004 in Community Health Partners West, after a sudden illness.She was born December 7, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a life long resident of North Ridgeville before moving to Vermilion a year ago to the home of her granddaughter.
She worked as an assembler for Nordson Manufacturing retiring after 17 years in 1987. She had also worked for General Industries in Elyria.
She enjoyed gambling, gardening; she was an avid animal lover, especially cats, cooking, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Hadaway of Vermilion, and Carol Massey of North Ridgeville, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four sisters, Clara Chaney of North Easton, Irene Spence of Osprey, Florida, Anna Mae Nicewander of Seville, Ohio, and Donna Kummerland of LaGrange, Ohio and two brothers, George Krute of Opa Locka, Florida, and Edward Krute of Brooksville, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willard, in 1984, brothers, Eugene Everett and Elmer Krute and her parents Alexander Krute and Hazel Eleanore Kentfle.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
Services will be held at Riddle Funeral Home, Friday, January 23, 2004 at 2:00 p.m.
