Jesse L. Visci, 87, of Sandusky, formerly of Amherst, died Wednesday, January 28, 2004 in Parkvue Health Care Center in Sandusky following a brief illness.He was born September 9, 1916 in Lorain, Ohio and had lived in the Amherst and Lorain areas all of his life.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for the U.S. Steel Company as an accounting clerk and in the rolling mill for 45 years. He was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter, Lorain and IAV Post, Lorain. He enjoyed reading.
Survivors include a son, Larry Visci of Ft. Meyers, Florida, daughter Judy Visci of Wellington, Ohio, and two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Edith, parents Louis and Theodora (nee DelGrosso) Visci, sister Christine Drwal, and brother Carl Babe Visci.
Private services will be held at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio with Reverend David Woost, Associate Pastor of Catholic Church of St. Peter, officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
