Clara M. Mauck, 87, Enjoyed playing Bingo and growing flowers

Clara M. Mauck (nee Johnson), 87, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Sheffield Lake died on Friday, January 30, 2004 at Riverfront Healthcare in Bradenton, FL following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Mauck was born on November 4, 1916 in Columbia Furnace, VA, moving to Lorain in 1946. She was a homemaker.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, growing plants, especially flowers.

Mrs. Mauck is survived by five daughters: Gloria Copenhaver of Bradenton, FL Shirley Flannagan of Tarpin Springs, FL Maxine Mauck of Columbus, Ohio Nancy Rittenberry of Baltimore, MD Ruby Floweres of Mendon, Ohio, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, and sister Frances Barb of Edinburg, VA.

She is preceded in death by her husband Herbert Henry Mauck in 1990, her daughter Mary Canterbury, one granddaughter, Shirley Large, her parents Joseph E. and Martha (nee Hesley) Johnson and sister Ethel Oxner.

Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio on Friday, February 6, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Jay Roller, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, will officiate. Clara M Mauck will be buried at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Amherst Township, Ohio.
