Robert John Lawlor, 50, Enjoyed electrical work and golfing

He was born November 11, 1953 in Lakewood and moved to Avon Lake from Rocky River in 1966. He was a 1972 graduate of Avon Lake High School and was employed as an assistant manager at Weekley’s Mailing Service the past fourteen years. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake and enjoyed doing electrical work and golfing.

Mr. Lawlor is survived by his wife of 26 years, Barbara (nee Rimar); two daughters, Katie Lawlor of Elyria and Elizabeth of Avon Lake; two sons, Eric who is serving in the Navy and is stationed in San Diego, CA; and Keith of Avon Lake; his father Edward and step-mother Evelyn of Warren and Florida; four brothers, Ed (Sandy) of California; William (Molly) of Michigan, Kevin (Jamie) of North Olmsted and Michael (Janice) of Westlake. Other survivors include three sisters, Maureen Cestaro (Dan) of Lakewood, Mary Beth Shank (Lee) of Fairview and Ruth Keane (Bill) of Avon Lake and fifteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Moira (nee Donnelly) in 1996 and grandparents, William and Ruth Donnelly and Edward and Gertrude Lawlor.

Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 163 Avon-Belden Rd. Avon Lake from 2-4 p.m. Thursday and 6-9 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Rd. Avon Lake Saturday, February 7 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Timothy J. O’Connor will officiate.
