Lenn A. Forbush, 61, State Skeet Champion in 1962
Lenn A. Forbush, 61, of LaGrange, died suddenly on Thursday February 5, 2004 at the Burke Medical Center in Waynesboro, GA.Mr. Forbush was born on June 27, 1942 in LaGrange and was a lifelong LaGrange resident.
He was a self-employed dog trainer and was a former Union Crane Operator and worked at DL Page in Elyria.
Mr. Forbush enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
He was the State Skeet Champion in 1962.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Bonita Bonnie (nee Botamer); sons, Dan of LaGrange and Dean of Wellington; 2 granddaughters; and sisters, Phyllis Simmons of Huntington Twp., Ohio and Jean Forbush of Grafton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lucille (nee Wilcox) Forbush; sister Lottie Secrist; and brother, Gordy Forbush.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at the Bauer-Labenthal Funeral Home at Chestnut Ridge Rd. & St. Rt. 57 in Elyria.
Rev. Janet Long, pastor of Wellington Avenue Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in River Road Cemetery, LaGrange Township.
