Lillian C. Stockman, 92, Mother, lifelong Vermilion resident

Photo of Lillian C. Stockman Lillian C. Stockman, (nee Reising), 92, of Vermilion, died Thursday, February 5, 2004 in Mill Manor Nursing Home in Vermilion after a lengthy illness.

She was born September 28, 1911 in Lorain, Ohio and was a lifelong Vermilion resident.

Lillian worked at South Shore Packing, Vermilion, for 25 years where she was a packer and server.

Survivors include her son: Lawrence Stockman of Vermilion; a daughter: Lois Tarrant of Vermilion; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Antone and Barbara (nee Bardo) Reising; her husband, Lawrence Stockman Sr. in 1983; a daughter: Barbara Stockman; sister: Thelma Myers; and 7 brothers: John, Matt, Carl, Tony, Albert, Les, and Alfred Reising; and a grandson: Allen Paul Tarrant.

Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Riddle Funeral Home; 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Father Jim Holmer, pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
