Richard S. Pavol, 86, U.S. Air Force Veteran

Born in Cleveland, he lived most of his life in Elyria.

Richard is a 1955 graduate of Elyria High School. He attended Elyria Business College and Case Western Reserve University. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a employee of the former Colson Co. in Elyria and also at one time a sales rep. for The Phillip Morris Co. He was also a manager of the Lorain Branch Office of the American Automobile Club for 25 years.

Mr. Pavol is a life member of Elyria Elk’s Lodge no. 465 and also a life member of the VFW Post 1079 in Elyria. He is a 55 year member of the American Legion Post 12 in Elyria. He is a member St. Agnes Church in Elyria, where he served as an usher for many years.

Richard is a former member of The Lorain Kiwanis Club and the Lorain Chamber of Commerce.

He leaves many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Rose nee Fruhauf, Pavol, Titko; his father: Stephen Pavol; and his step-father John Titko.

Friends may call Saturday at 9:15 a.m. until time of service at 10 at St. Agnes Church, 611 Lake Avenue, Elyria. The Reverend Albert Krupp will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Elyria.
