Elise B. Kretovics, (nee Broadfoot), 81 years of age, of Lorain died on Thursday, February 19, 2004, at Community Health Partners Hospital & Surgical Center in Lorain, Ohio.Mrs. Kretovics was born on February 9, 1923, in Greenock, Scotland and resided in Lorain for 79 years. She was a graduate of Lorain High School. She had been employed as a monitor for the Lorain Board of Education.
She was a member of Delaware Avenue United Methodist Church. She had taught Sunday School. She enjoyed gardening, oil painting, cooking, sewing and knitting.
Mrs. Kretovics is survived by her husband William J. Kretovics Sr., her five sons, Jack Kretovics of Campbell, CA, Joseph Kretovics of Kalamazoo, MI, Mark Kretovics of Kent, OH Tom Kretovics of New Richmond, WI, William J. Kretovics Jr., Sheffield, 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sister Margaret McClelland of North Canton, OH.
She was preceded by her parents Robert and Matilda (nee McSheffery) Broadfoot, brother Robert Broadfoot and an infant son, James.
