Charlotte A. Coleman, 82, Enjoyed golf, knitting, and crafts

Charlotte A. "Char" Coleman, (nee Falk) age 82, of Lorain, died Sunday, February 22, 2004 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home following a brief illness.

Mrs. Coleman was born in Lorain on July 5, 1921 and had been a life-long resident of the city. She was a graduate of Lorain High School.

Charlotte was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lorain where she was a long-time member of the church's Altar Guild.

Her hobbies included golf, knitting, and all forms of crafts.

She is survived by a son: Mark R. Coleman of Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter: Sandra L. Beatty of Flanders, New Jersey, grandchildren Brittany & Erik Beatty, Holly, Heather, and Amy Coleman, and a sister; Shirley Sheridan of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert M. Coleman in October of 2003, by a son: Craig A. Coleman, by her parents: George and Charlotte (nee Binder-House) Falk, brothers: George and Otto, and a sister: Alice Falk.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel - 3224 Broadway - Lorain. Additional visitation will be observed in Zion Lutheran Church - 5100 Ashland Avenue – Lorain on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m.

The Reverend Kevin Saylor, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park - Amherst Township.
