Steve Santo, 76, Proud U.S. Amy Veteran

He was born in Lorain and retired from U.S. Steel after 37 years of service. Steve proudly served his country in Korea while in the U.S. Army. He was a lifetime member of Amvets and VFW Post 1079. He enjoyed traveling and loved to spend many hours in his garden.

Survivors include Sister Agnes Luccio-Howell; Brother Frank Santo; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Helen Santo and Brothers John and George Santo.

Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Rd, Elyria. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. James R. Ols of St. Vincent De Paul Church will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
