Linda Norton, 55, Loved her dog and enjoyed reading

She was born in Lackawanna, New York and moved to Ohio in 1971. She worked at Mangene’s Café for 12 years. Linda enjoyed reading, playing Yahtzee and crossword puzzles. She loved her dog Bud, faithful companion of 12 years.

Survivors include mother Virginia Norton, Siblings Peggy MacPeak, Kim Norton, Gail Hunter, Cindy Hagelberger, Guy Norton, Diane Norton, Richard Norton, Roy Norton, and Gene Norton; children Melissa Colby, Michele Colby, Melinda Doucette, Michael Colby, and Jennifer Kolesar; grandchildren Brian Duncan, Michael Doucette, Cameron Doucette, Tristan Loessin, Amanda Bains, Curt Thompson, Eric Pentkowski, Carrie Buckley, Matthew Colby, Lauren Colby, and Benjamin Colby; great grandchild J’adrian Bains.

She was preceded in death by her father Clifford Norton.

A celebration of her life will be held at Spitzer Plaza Hotel, 301 Broadway, Lorain on Monday, March 1, 2004 from 6 to 9:00 p.m.
