Ljudmila M. Striker, 79, Enjoyed cooking, gardening, and animals

She was born March 15, 1924 in Yugoslavia and had resided in Lorain since childhood.

Mrs. Striker worked various jobs at Steel Stamping, Lorain Garment, Thew Shovel and Stumphauzer' s Greenhouse.

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the church Altar & Rosary Society. She enjoyed cooking and the outdoors and was an avid gardener and flower gardener. She loved animals.

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Ruth of Elyria, grandson Brendon Ruth of Cleveland and brother John Razdrh of South Amherst. She was preceded in death by her husband John Striker on May 16, 2000.

The family will receive friends Sunday 4-6 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held Monday at12:30 PM. The Rev. Thomas Smith, pastor of St. John Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
