Nora M. Shreve, 54, Enjoyed caring for her family
Nora M. Shreve, age 54, of Lorain died Sunday, February 29, 2004 at Community Health Partners following a sudden illness.She was born in Morehead, Kentucky. After moving to Ohio, she attended and graduated from Elyria High School. She enjoyed taking care of her family and her home. She spent hours reading, embroidering, and taking care of her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and by her special companion, Snoopy, who was always by her side.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Neil Shreve; daughters Roxanne Shreve, Michelle Bracy, and Joyce Perez; son Neil Shreve Jr.; mother Gladys Wolfe; sister Mattie Meade; brother Carl Messer and 9 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Earl Messer.
Friends may call Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Rd, Elyria. The Rev. John Bracy of New Bethel Baptist Church will officiate.
