Jacqueline F. Wilcox, 72, Enjoyed golfing and walking her dog
Jacqueline F. Wilcox (nee Swilik), age 72, of Avon and formerly of Bay Village, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at her home following a 13 month illness.Mrs. Wilcox was born July 24, 1931 in Cleveland, was a 1949 graduate of Bay High School, and attended Bowling Green State University. Jacqueline was a homemaker. She moved to Avon two years ago from Bay Village, where she was a member of Bay Presbyterian Church and the Bay Village Women's Club. She enjoyed preparing monthly lunches for a Gourmet Club, golfing, and walking her dog.
Mrs. Wilcox is survived by her husband of over 49 years, William B. She is also survived by a daughter: Kathy Haaning (Kurt) of Fishers, Indiana; and a son: Jim Wilcox (Karen) of Avon Lake; four grandchildren: Kaitlin, Ryan, Kyle and Casey; and a sister: Gail Miller of Findley, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Achsa (nee Dinsmore) Swilik.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Rd. in Avon Lake from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Memorial Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Thomas Madden of Bay Presbyterian Church will officiate.
