Jacqueline F. Wilcox, 72, Enjoyed golfing and walking her dog

Mrs. Wilcox was born July 24, 1931 in Cleveland, was a 1949 graduate of Bay High School, and attended Bowling Green State University. Jacqueline was a homemaker. She moved to Avon two years ago from Bay Village, where she was a member of Bay Presbyterian Church and the Bay Village Women's Club. She enjoyed preparing monthly lunches for a Gourmet Club, golfing, and walking her dog.

Mrs. Wilcox is survived by her husband of over 49 years, William B. She is also survived by a daughter: Kathy Haaning (Kurt) of Fishers, Indiana; and a son: Jim Wilcox (Karen) of Avon Lake; four grandchildren: Kaitlin, Ryan, Kyle and Casey; and a sister: Gail Miller of Findley, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Achsa (nee Dinsmore) Swilik.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Rd. in Avon Lake from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Memorial Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Thomas Madden of Bay Presbyterian Church will officiate.
