Blaine Alma Kehler, 75, Active member of St. Joseph's, Avon Lake

Blaine Alma Kehler (nee Shum), 75, of Avon Lake, passed away, Wednesday, March 03, 2004 at her home following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Kehler was born, April 14, 1928 in Cleveland and had lived in Avon Lake since 1954.

She had worked as an Inventory Control Specialist for B & B Glass, Cleveland. She was an active member of St. Joseph Parish, Avon Lake where she was a PRS instructor.

She is survived by five daughters: Ann Cothran (Stan), Mary Wolford (Terry), Jeanne Jaeger, Eileen Kehler and Geraldine Kehler all of Avon Lake; three sons: Thomas Kehler, Joseph Kehler, both of Avon Lake and James Kehler (Kristin) of Columbus; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter Joseph Kehler, two sons Robert Kehler and Larry Kehler and a daughter Kathleen Crawford (Bill) and her parents, George and Pearl (nee Friedrich) Shum.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon, Friday, March 3 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Prayers Service at the funeral home, Saturday, March 4 at 9:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 32929 Lake Rd., at 9:30 a.m. Fr. Timothy J. O'Connor of the Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Jaycox Rd., Avon.
