Thomas D. Miller, 70, Enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling

Thomas D. Miller, age 70, of Lorain, died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at his home after lengthy illness.

He was born January 5, 1934 in Lorain and he has been a lifelong resident of the area.

He worked as a Foreman at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain and St. Mary Cemetery in Elyria. He retired in 1992 after 41 years of service. He was a member of National Rifleman's Association, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling

Survivors include his son Thomas J. Miller of Lorain, daughters: Diane Piscione of Lorain, Pat Tsirikos of Lorain, Nancy Miller of Lorain, Karen Alemane of Lorain, Michelle Miller of Lorain, Melissa Miller of Lorain, 14 Grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sisters Shirley Meaney of Columbus, OH, Joanne Orosz of Amherst, Kathleen Czompoly of Lorain and his brother William Miller of Florida.

Preceding him in death is his wife Shirley L. Miller in 1994, 5 great grandchildren, brother Robert Miller, and his parents Paul and Katherine (Kramer) Miller.


Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2004 from 5-9 PM with a Christian Wake at 8:30 PM. Visitation will be at the Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway Lorain, OH. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30AM with prayers being said at the funeral home followed by Mass at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, Lorain. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
