Elizabeth J. Visci, 85, Enjoyed playing cards, music, and traveling
Elizabeth J. Visci, age 85, of Elyria, died Sunday, April 4, 2004 in Elyria United Methodist Village.She was born July 4, 1918 in Amherst and was a lifelong area resident.
Elizabeth graduated from Amherst High School and attended Lorain Business College. She was a homemaker and a lover of music, card playing, traveling, and dancing with her husband. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter, St. Rita’s Guild, and New Era Card Club.
Survivors include her daughter: Natalie Freeman of Everett, WA; two sons: Fred Visci of Lorain, and Bob Visci of Orlando, FL; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Proceeding her in death was her husband: Ferdinand A. Visci on July 12, 2003; parents: Steven and Elizabeth (nee Tirpak) Toth; daughter: Carol Visci in 1994; sisters: Mary Ryan and Emma Schultz; and twin brother: Frank who died at birth.
Friends may Friday, April 9, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dombrowki-Volak-Riddle funeral home; 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH.
Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2004, followed by a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Catholic Church of St. Peter; 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain with the Rev. David Woost, associate pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
