Ruben Arce, 55, Devoted Indians fan, enjoyed reading the Bible

Ruben Arce, 55, of Lorain died Friday, May 7, 2004 at Elyria Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, he was an avid reader and enjoyed reading the Bible and poetry. He was also a devoted Cleveland Indians Fan.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years Mary Lowe; daughters Judy Lynn, Judy Brey, and Margaret Krage; father Cesario Franky; brothers Leonide, David, Eliseo, Jose, Michael and Cesario Jr.; sisters Carmen Hodge, Leonilda Luciano, Nilsa Cortes, and Wilma Arce; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He as preceded in death by his mother Maria (nee Soto); nephews Daniel Arce and Tommy James Collett; and niece Sharon Franky.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal Cristo Rey M I "Cristo Rey", 1790 Reid Ave, Lorain where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Pastor Juan Aybar will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
