Lina Rivas Diaz, 82, Member of Sacred Heart Chapel
Lina Rivas Diaz (nee Ramos), age 82, of Lorain, died Saturday, may 8th, 2004 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Centers, West in Lorain, after a sudden illness.She was born on February 22, 1922 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, and came to Lorain from there in 1958.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel.
Surviving is her husband Triburcio “Cesar” to whom she was married 46 years, brother Cristobal Ramos and sisters Victoria, Saba, and Julia Ramos all of Puerto Rico.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Visitation on Wednesday, May 12, 2004 will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave., Lorain. Rev. Father William Thaden, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
