Marrianne Zamiska, 50, Enjoyed coloring, collecting purses and country music

Marrianne Zamiska, age 50, of Lorain, died Sunday, May 16, 2004 at the New Life Hospice Center of Saint Joseph in Lorain following an extended illness.

She was born May 15, 1954 in Lorain and had been a lifelong area resident.

Miss Zamiska was employed as an assembler for the Murray Ridge Workshop of Lorain and formerly attended Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elyria Township.

Marrianne’s hobbies included browsing through magazines, coloring, collecting purses, and County and Western Music. Additional interests include pizza, ice cream, Pepsi, and trips to McDonald’s.

Survivors include her brother: John of Lorain; sister: Betty Bailey of Anaheim, California; two nieces; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Elizabeth (nee Ellis) Zamiska; and a brother: Michael.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel; 3224 Broadway, in Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel and will be followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church; 41295 North Ridge Road in Elyria Township. The Reverend Gaetano Mennegatto will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

The family suggests memorials in her memory to Our Lady of the Wayside; 38135 Colorado Avenue, Avon, OH 44011.
