He was born November 1, 1979 in Brooklyn, NY. He has been a resident of Elyria for the past 4 years, moving from Vermilion.
Mr. Terry worked for Attractive Flooring in North Ridgeville for 5 years as an installer.
Matthew loved motorcycles, especially crotch rockets, loved driving, and living on the edge of life.
He is survived by his parents: Douglas and Beth (nee Lembeck) Terry of Vermilion; his fiancée: Jessica Lynch of Elyria; 4 brothers: Douglas Guma of Bensalem, PA, David Guma of Vermilion, Douglas Terry, Jr. of Lorain, and Duane Terry of Ft. Meyers, FL; 2 sisters: Tony-Sue Cramutola of Orlando, FL, and Stacey Terry of Vermilion; maternal grandmother: Dorothy Lembeck of Roxbourough, PA; paternal grandparents: Clifford and Polly Terry of Vermilion, and Belle.
Matthew was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Jerry Lembeck.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. and Wednesday 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home; 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH, with the Reverend Guy Morton, pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church officiating.
A fundraiser for the benefit of Matthew J. Terry at Quaker Steak and Lube; 4900 Transportation Drive, Sheffield Township, Ohio will take place Saturday afternoon, May 24, 2004. Memorial Fund at any 1st Merit Bank.
