Laura Lopez, 75, Homemaker and mother

She was born February 15, 1929 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

Mrs. Lopez was a homemaker and mother, and a member of Sacred Heart Chapel in Lorain.

Among the survivors is her husband of 53 years: Angel R. Lopez; son: Hector Lopez of Lorain; daughters: Nilda Rosado, Celia Stawicki, and Miriam "Migi" Morell, all of Lorain; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; a brother in New York; and a sister in Puerto Rico.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Aquido and Maria (nee Acevedo) Rosado; and a son: Angel L. Lopez.

Friends may call Thursday 4- 8 p.m. at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio.

Funeral services will be Friday with closing prayers at the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, South Lorain. Reverend, Father William A. Thaden, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
