Ruby L. Kline, 97, Enjoyed traveling and her family
Ruby L. (nee Reisinger) Kline, 97 of Elyria died on Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at Amherst Manor Nursing Home in Amherst, OH following a long illness.Mrs. Kline was born on March 11, 1907, in Elyria, OH.
She moved to Ashland, Ohio in the mid 1940's and began working as an assembler at the Ashland Faultless Rubber Co. She retired after 21 years service in 1969 and moved back to northern Lorain County.
Ruby is a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in South Amherst. She was also a member of the United Rubber Workers Union. She enjoyed traveling, eating at restaurants and doing "family stuff."
Mrs. Kline is survived by her son: Robert E. Klein of Sheffield Village; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Walter C. Kline in 1992; and her parents: Walter and Lillian (nee Geiger) Reisinger, and a step great granddaughter: Treasure Dugan.
Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Thursday, May 20, 2004, from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Paul D. Eaton, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ in South Amherst is officiating. Ruby L. Kline will be buried at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Amherst Twp., OH.
