Clarence Schultz Sr., 76, Enjoyed fishing, sports, and camping

Clarence Schultz, Sr., age 76, of Lorain, formerly of Yuma, Arizona and Valinda California, passed away, Sunday, May 23, 2004 at his home from cancer.

Mr. Schultz was born January 30, 1928 in Cleveland and had lived in Valinda California from 1970-1993, he then moved to Yuma, Arizona where he lived until moving to Lorain three years ago.

Mr. Schultz worked as a welder for Mooney Iron Works, Cleveland and in for Utility Trailer, City of Industry, California. He enjoyed fishing, sports and camping.

His wife of 52 years, Anna (nee Donna) Schultz, passed away in 2000. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Sloan of Yuma Arizona and Jackie Gadboise (Joe) of Lorain, son Clarence Schultz, Jr., (Kathy) of Avon Lake. Other survivors include nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a brother Roland Schultz of Lorain. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna (nee Prohaska) Schultz and a sister Paulette Panisiak and brother Donald Lewis Schultz.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, Tuesday, May 25, 2004 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. All services will be at the funeral home, Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Kendall Lancaster of the Hospice of the Cleveland Clinic will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Memorials may be forwarded to the Hospice of the Cleveland Clinic, 6801 Brecksville Rd., Independence, Oh 44131.
