Anne Mary Soucek, 91, Enjoyed gardening and fishing
Anne Mary Soucek (nee Cerveny), age 91, of Vermilion, died Monday, May 31, 2004 in Kingston of Vermilion, following a brief illness.She was born February 10, 1913 in Cleveland and has lived in Vermilion for the past 25 years.
Anne worked as an Interior Designer for Kinstey Shop in Shaker Heights. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society. She volunteered for the Martha March group at church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and her great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her son: Charles A. Soucek of Cincinnati; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister: Florence Koenig of Bainbridge; a brother: Robert Cerveny of Broadview Heights; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband: Charles J. in 1989; parents: James and Mary (nee Roubic); sister: Mae Srp; and brothers; Elmer and Charles Cerveny.
Friends may call the Riddle Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be said in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, in Vermilion.
