Madeline M (nee Meeker) Klepek, 90, of Lorain, died on Monday, May 31, 2004, at Kingston of Vermilion in Vermilion, Ohio following a long illness.Mrs. Klepek was born on February 28, 1914, in Cleveland, OH and has lived in Lorain for the past 10 years. She was a graduate of Collinwood High School in Cleveland. She was a homemaker and attended St. Joseph's Church in Amherst for many years. She enjoyed sewing, reading and embroidery.
Mrs. Klepek is survived by her two daughters, Carol Sapienza of Lorain, Ohio, and Lenore Varga of Vermilion, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and her sister Mary Castle of Ft. Myers, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her husband John P Klepek in 1986, son Robert J. Klepek
in 1981, an infant son Francis Klepek, an infant daughter Madeline Klepek, her parents Francis B. and Ellen "Nell" (nee Nagle) Meeker, her step mother Mayme (nee Nagle) Meeker and her brother John Meeker.
Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Wednesday, June 2, 2004, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals in Lorain, OH with Rev. David Woost, associate pastor of St. Peter's Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Amherst.
