Kayla M. Cajka, 8, Enjoyed watching cartoons and listening to music

Photo of Kayla M. Cajka Kayla M. Cajka, age 8, of Lorain, died on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at her home, while under the care of Hospice of the Western Reserve, following a lengthy battle with Cerebral Palsy, since birth.

Born on January 18, 1996 in Amherst, Kayla lived in Lorain her entire life.

She was home schooled through Murray Ridge School. Kayla enjoyed watching cartoons and listening to music.

She is survived by her mother: Debbie Cajka, sister: Michelle Suleski, of Lorain, maternal great-grandmother: Bessie Major, of Vermilion, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private visitation and funeral services were held yesterday, (Thursday, June 10th) in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Fr. Joseph West, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, officiated. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
