Sharon E. Pilger, (nee Zeise), age 60, of Lorain, died on Friday, June 11, 2004 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center, West, following a sudden illness.Born on July 19, 1943 in Lorain, she has been a lifelong resident. She was a 1962 graduate of Admiral King High School.
She was employed at Giant Eagle in Elyria for the past 15 years.
Sharon was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Lorain, and Local #880 Meat Cutters Union, Cleveland.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.
She is survived by her son: Russell Pilger, of Lorain, daughter: Susan Kuhar, of Lorain and 3 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Oscar C. and Clara C. (nee Holtzhauer) Zeise and 2 sisters: Beverly Zeise and Carol Klaiber.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bill Hainstock, pastor of St. John United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be held on Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
