Charlotte J. Hoosech, 88, Enjoyed making quilts, and crocheting

Charlotte J. Hoosech, (nee Karhuz), 88, of Dunnellon, Florida, and formerly of Lorain, died Monday, June 14, 2004 at Legacy Hospice House, Ocala, Florida, following a lengthy illness.

Born July 16, 1915 in Lorain, she lived here until moving to Florida to live with her son in 1997.

Charlotte was a homemaker most of her life, however she did work many years for Weitz Co., as a seamstress before she was married in 1935.

She was a member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Lorain, and the Virgin Mary Society of the Church, and the St. Ann's Auxiliary 297 of the Knights of St. John.

She enjoyed making quilts, and crocheting.

Surviving are her sons, Louis, of Dunnellon, Florida, and Joseph, of Phrump, Nevada, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Louis J., in 1987, parents, Victor Karhuz and Theresa (nee Zsoldos) Karhuz, brothers, Joseph, Carl, and Themer, in 1987.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. James P. Schmitz, pastor of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
