Ronald Edward Fly, 39, He loved all sports, especially football

He was born October 10, 1964 in Elyria where he was raised. He attended Elyria Schools and was a lifetime resident.

He was employed at the Diamond products Co. in Elyria for twenty years as a painter. He was a member of the Cross Community Church in Elyria. Ronald was also formerly involved with the bus ministry as a driver. He loved all sports, especially football. He also liked NASCAR and playing softball. He loved animals and in particular his two dogs. He had a good sense of humor, and as a reflection of his desire to help others, his final wishes were followed, and he was able to be an organ donor at his death.

Survivors include his wife of one year, Peggy Sue Fly (nee Ramsey), his stepson John Carl Slack of South Amherst, his stepdaughter Faith Lynn Slack of South Amherst, his father and stepmother Ronald E. and Betty Fly, Sr. of Elyria, his mother Maryann Schmitz (nee Zvosek) of Elyria, his sister Tammy Sue Dunn of Elyria, his stepbrothers Joe Bailey of Elyria and William Bailey of Virginia Beach, Virginia, his stepsister Terry Horner of Grafton, two nieces, and on nephew.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Ronald Edward Memorial Account c/o any branch of the Fifth Third Bank.
