Ingrid M. Kober, 54, Enjoyed jogging, bike riding, and was an avid sports fan
Ingrid M. Kober (nee Otero), 54, of Maumee, Ohio and formerly of Lorain was found dead at her home on Wednesday June 16, 2004.She was born August 29, 1949 in Lorain and had resided in Maumee since 1973 moving from Lorain.
She was a graduate o Admiral King High School in 1967 and attended Heidelberg University in Tiffin where she graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She earned her Master’s Degree in 1973 from the university of Maryland.
Mrs. Kober worked as a speech therapist for the state of Ohio Bureau of Rehabilitation retiring in 2003. She enjoyed jogging, bike riding, and was an avid sports fan and Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians fan.
She is survived by her daughter Kristine Ann Kober of Toledo, mother Esther Otero (nee Vasquez) of Lorain, brother John B. Otero, Jr. and his wife Audrey of Lorain and nephew John B. Otero, Sr. in 1987.
Private family funeral services were held at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Dr. Linwood H. Chamberlain Jr. co-pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lorain, officiated. Burial was in Ridge Hill memorial Park in Amherst Township.
