Hazel R. Kline, 87, She enjoyed her church groups, volunteering, traveling with her husband.

Hazel R. Kline, 87 (nee Dorsey) of Avon died on Friday, June 18, 2004 at Hospice of Cleveland Clinic in Olmsted Township, OH following a short illness.

Mrs. Kline was born on November 4, 1916 in Lorain, OH and was a lifelong resident of the area. She retired in 1981 from the accounting department at the former Lorain Products after more than 20 years service.

She is a member of the Church of The Open Door.

She was a member of the Lorain-Elyria Christian Women's Club, Naomi Circle and the Church of the Open Door Senior Citizens group. She enjoyed her church groups, volunteering, traveling with her husband and their winters in Florida.

Mrs. Kline is survived by her daughter, Janet L. Meck of Avon Lake, 3 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her brother Alvin W. Dorsey of Venice, FL.She is preceded in death by her husband Frank V. Kline in 1992, daughter Ruth Ellen Kline in 1966 and her parents John E. and Pearl B. (nee Carson) Dorsey.

Friends may call at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Monday, June 21, 2004 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at 11:00 am in Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals with Rev. Diane Hill, chaplain at the Cleveland Clinic, officiating.

Hazel R. Kline will be buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain, OH.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Ann Baptist Camp, P.O. Box 109, Lake Ann, Michigan 49650.
