Bonnie J. Ganoe, 79, Homemaker, loved animals

Bonnie J. Ganoe (nee Dunn), 79, and a resident of Amherst passed away Monday, June 21, 2004 Community Health Partners ER in Lorain following a one-year illness.

She was born June 12, 1925 in Welch, West Virginia where she lived until 1952 when she moved to Canton, Ohio. Canton was her home until moving to Lorain in 1960 and then to Lagrange in 1972. Amherst has been her home since 2002.

Bonnie was a homemaker and showed her love of animals by always having several dogs and cats at a time.

Survivors include her daughter Denise L. Ganoe of Amherst and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Norman A. Ganoe on February 14, 1998; by her parents Harley and Cleo Dunn (nee Clay); by her brothers Harley Dunn and Herman Dunn; and by her sisters Virginia Stanley; Dorothy Ruble, and Cleo Ganoe.

Friends may call Thursday 7-9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
