Lilly S. Adair, 75, Enjoyed flower gardening and growing houseplants
Lilly S. Adair, age 75 of Lorain, died Wednesday June 23, 2004 at her residence following an extended illness.Mrs. Adair was born September 17, 1928 in Mingo City, West Virginia and had been a resident of Lorain since 1963.
She attended the Apostle’s Doctrine Church in Lorain. Her hobbies included flower gardening and growing and nurturing houseplants.
She is survived by her sisters: Doshie Morris of Ocala, Florida, Eileen Carter of Leesburg, Florida, Lola Coleman of Berea, Kentucky, Rita Justice of Delbarton, West Virginia, Dixie Justice of Grantsville, West Virginia, Louella Hunt of Millstone, West Virginia, Gladys Justice of Lorain, and by her brothers: Clyde White and Columbus White both of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1999, by her parents: Ralph and Ada (nee York) White, by a brother: John White, and by sisters: Delilah White, Helen White, Pearl Louise White, and Ima Jean White.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel; 3224 Broadway, Lorain. The Reverend Roy McGlugrich, pastor of Apostle’s Doctrine Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
