Virginia M. Reising, 76, Enjoyed her family and crosswords

Virginia M. Reising (nee Razzoni), 76 of Lorain, died Friday, June 25, 2004 in Westlake Health Care Center.

She was born December 26, 1927 in Lorain and had lived in Lorain most of her life.

She worked in house keeping for St. Joseph Hospital for 13 years and at Steel Stamping Toy Factory in Lorain. She attended the Catholic Church of St. Peters, Lorain. She had been involved with the Garfield School PTA. She collected crystal bells, enjoyed crossword puzzles, collecting Christmas ornaments, crocheting, camping and her children, grandchildren, and great granddaughters.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, David Reising; son, David Reising Jr. of Lorain; daughters, Patricia Reising of Lorain, and Debra Reising of Westlake; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-granddaughters; sister, Rosemary Hausman of Nashville, Arkansas; and a brother, Homer Rash of Lorain.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Louis and Pauline (nee Traxler) Razzoni.

Friends may call Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 6 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Father Jim Holmer, pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion will officiate.
