Robert J. Nevedale, 67, Enjoyed fishing, bowling, and gardening

He was born June 11, 1937 in Bobtown, PA.

He worked as a painter for American Standard & Tappan in Elyria. He had also worked as a buffer and grinder for Moen, Elyria. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, bowling, and gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Patty Nevedale (nee White), sons Keith Nevedale and Michael Nevedale, both of Vermilion, granddaughter, Crystal Nevedale, two great grandchildren, brother John Nevedale of Elyria, three sisters; Mildred Sharpnack of Elyria, Clara Collage of Rices Landing, PA, and Dorothy Ekovich of Escondido, CA.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Joseph and Anna (nee Hidock) Nevedale.

Friends may call Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Monday, July 19, 2004 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St., Vermilion. Burial will follow in Maple Grove cemetery, Vermilion.
